How to do Nothing ?




I have always been a busy girl, I never really knew how and why but I have been since I knew what being busy meant.

When I was in college I always wanted to work and start working asap. Now it's been eight months that I have been working and sometimes I hate it.

People say if you love something you will never consider it as work and would love it doing 24 ✖7 but I still need to discover whether it's true or not.


But I finally take an off, not for any work but to take rest and do nothing. 

Finally, I achieved what I wanted which was to be in pyjamas all day and do nothing.
The day is over and I finally embrace doing nothing whole day and I am completely proud of it. The day was bliss and i am writing this to write to let people know that it's okay to feel lazy sometimes and do nothing at all.One should not be guilty about it. People tend to write the days on which they did something big or some tragic day.
 But, I wanted to write this just to be proud of taking an off as its okay to take these days once in a while. We do a lot already and lets sometimes enjoy doing nothing.

So here what you can follow to have a day dedicated to nothing.

1. Don't take a shower

Please! You will be fine if you will not take a shower for a day, it's completely normal to just be in pajamas and if its winter then the blanket coziness is perfect to make you stay glued to your bed.

2. Take that buttery breakfast in bed


Do that! for just one day screw your weight and diet. Just enjoy that buttery parantha you always wanted to enjoy. Have a wholesome breakfast and just be guilt free. Take that favorite beverage of yours i.e. hot chai or coffee. So as I am a Chai person , would love to have that warm chai in bed and feel so great. We all drink tea daily but when you feel that hot tea pouring all over your nerves then that is just bliss. 

3. Winter and warm sun rays



Yes! girls please a little tan just makes you look sexy. Get your ass up and soak all the Vitamin D you can. Feel that natural warmth of sun rays and feel good.

4.  Sleeeeep!


Go take a blanket on your face and take an afternoon nap you always wanted to. Do daydreaming and have fun. As when I took a nap the only dream I dreamt of was eating loads of chocolates and when I woke up, I was wondering where the chocolate went.

5. Watch a Movie


Watch that movie you always wanted to watch. I watched mums list which is an emotional one. I had many options of movies to watch but not being a prime member of hotstar they just let me watch this for free.

6.  Do what you love



As I love reading and cooking. I did both, read books and baked some cup cakes. That hard work felt so good when that fluffy yummy muffin came out of the oven when unlike the bosses it was appreciated by my mum without any judgments and more expectations.




7. Dinner

  Finally, it was dinner time, and I did dinner in bed enjoying my favorite shows.

I wonder laying in bed in the night at night that how days like pass so easily and how other days feel like a headache. I love doing this today and I can do this all the time but still, I need to think that how I can earn my living from this.
