Bhai Mere wali Alag Hai
Standing in my balcony, looking at the empty street wearing a pajama and oversized T-shirt, my hair wrapped up in a messy bun ( look inspired by some blogger from Instagram, a thing we all girls do ), I thought thats how we all pretend to be that unique girl every guy is looking for.
We girls pretend to not be that cliche clingy girlfriend/wife who is trolled in videos and stand up comedies on which we also tend to laugh.
We want to be that unique girl all guys are looking for, we want to be the girl whose partner, sitting with his stupid friends holding a beer in his hand can say, " Bhai Nahi mere wali alag hai " and also mean it.
As far as I know meI have been pretending so far. Pretending to be the best, cool, pretending to be the suitable girl out there but now I no more know the meaning of suitable.
We all pretend to be that coolest girl around but I do not agree with the definition of cool invented by some shitty guys.
So I want to say it out loud that Yes I am a woman and I love pink, I hate watching cricket because I don't understand it much, Yes I don't read the news much, I get jealous of those so-called female best friends of my partner or any women my partner tends to look at, Yes I keep watching makeup tutorials and recipe videos, I love watching cliche cheesy romantic movies and Yes I am possessive. If that doesnt suit you date your male best friend.
I don't want to pretend anymore, like a girl who is cool and doesn't care about anything , do not want commitment from you. I tried to pretend for so long and did it well but I don't want to anymore.
I don't believe people who say you are cool if you don't react on anything and if you are always happy whatever they do or dont do, also atlast if you behaved 70% like their gender. No that's not how it happens.
Cool is when you know yourself and you are not afraid to present it to the world. Cool is when you two can talk about anything and cool is when you accept a person as he/she is. Cool is when you understand each other.
I don't really know if all girls do that but I did and also I know a few who do. Stop doing that Be who you are as you won't be able to pretend for so long.
Be who you are and not be ashamed of it, If the next person doesn't acknowledge it then it's their problem, not yours. Dont worry wait for the right one with whom you will not have to pretend. I found mine and you also will.
